Balinese Cuisine At Bumbu Bali
Posted on Sep 09, 2009 under family, food, good stuff | 30 CommentsThis is a backdated post. We took my MIL and BIL to our favourite restaurant – Bumbu Bali in Puchong last week for some Balinese food. The food really rocks here and it’s a nice place to hangout too
Below are what we ordered :-
Campur-Campur Tiga (Mixture of Three) . It is a mixed platter of grilled calamari, BBQ chicken wings/drummet and fish meat in lemongrass skewers. Ordered this to be shared with everyone.
My grilled chicken salad. I always order this when I’m there because I don’t fancy rice
This salad is pretty huge too.
Bumbu Bali Nasi Campur Special – with Petai. My hubs ordered this spicy dish. Fragrant coconut rice, served with stir-fried kangkung and chilli, 1 piece of tempeyek (crispy coconut-ish cracker with roasted peanuts & anchovies), fresh cut cucumbers+pineapples+sengkuang (Chinese turnip), & 2 types of sauce served on a banana leaf
Bumbu Bali Nasi Campur Special – Lamb. My bil and my mom had this spicy dish.
Mother-in-law ordered the Nasi Campur Special – Seafood.
Ashley and Mah Mah
Bumbu Bali opens daily from 11am until late
The address: -
18 & 18-1, Jalan Persiaran Puteri 1, Bandar Puteri, 47100 Puchong
