a slacker
Posted on Oct 20, 2009 under home, me | 26 CommentsI always find that the stairway walls in my house pretty boring and intend to decorate it as soon as we moved in. It is not an easy space to decorate because of its odd shape 
So…it has been almost 2 years since we moved in and I finally moved my butt and got some frames. Developed these photos for many months already and now they can be displayed.
Still not enough frames. Time to go to Ikea

it’s very nice Barb. i like the frames, esp the 4-in-one wan. also, where u buy the geeraf? it’s so colorful. i always wanted something to put on the stairs like urs but haven’t found anything suitable. need to be skinny but prominent enough.

i bought the giraffe from a teak shop along jln Gasing, PJ. If you are coming from Jln Templer, the shop would be on your right…diagonally opposite Gotik By Teak. I want something colourful in that space because the mirror window and my staircase are already in boring brown colour. don’t you think the giraffe looks funny in all those colours eh? heheheheh

You are so creative. It’s very nice. What about your family photo..hehe. I like the giraffe too it’s so colourful. So far I’ve only seen the normal brown and yellow colour ones.

Looks good. Nothing like family pics for a personal touch, Maybe you can get some bigger frames that would take up more space :p

I can’t believe the coincidence!! I bought some frames for the same purpose too (but mine is not stairway, it’s a corridor) but they are all idling at a corner now. I bought two of the 4-in-1 wood frame too

haha…talking abt photos, i was at ikea over the weekend and i bought some photo frames too…not for staircase, but table top. now u need a big family photo to complete your collection

perhaps u can change arrangement and make them slanted up to your stairs? like this no need to use so many frames

We used to out photos along stairway wall too, rather than plain white wall. Now, waiting to move to our new house, then will start to put photos on walls again.

Maybe you should go take a family portrait and hang it… then it should fill/brighten up the entire place.
We can’t hang anything on the wall here coz the blardy lizards will have a fun time dropping their poos around the frames!

wall stickers is an in-thing now. not like WALL paper… just some flowery or some designs… u can check it out..
I have wall stickers on the other wall and they have been there for over a year already. got them online.

You can paint one of the wall like light brown, light yellow or others. The outcome sure very nice without adding or hanging more frames.:)
