Last day of school’s project
Posted on Nov 21, 2009 under ashley, children, food, friends | 20 CommentsYesterday was the last day of school for 2009 and Ashley’s kindy organized a party for all the children. Parents were encouraged to sponsor some food or party packs for the party. I decided to make some Chocolate Coated Cornflakes for the kids
I got some heart-shaped and star-shaped sprinkles
A box of cornflakes
Melted a bar of chocolate and butter into a bowl. Pour them into the cornflakes and stir gently.
Voila….Chocolate Coated Cornflakes with colourful sprinkles in paper cups. Ashley helped me to put the sprinkles
I got the recipe from Yvonne’s blog. It’s a simple recipe and don’t need any baking. Great for those who don’t have an oven like moi

Looks yummy! Ashley is done for the rest of the year? That is a long Xmas holiday!
Yes, she’s done for the rest of the year. The school year starts in January and ends in mid-Nov. In between there are 3 short breaks i.e. 2 one-week holidays and 1 two-week holiday.
