Hello Kitty Fan
Posted on Dec 29, 2009 under ashley, children, food | 17 CommentsIt all started when my friend gave Ashley a pair of pink Hello Kitty hairclips. Since then, she is hooked. I never liked Hello Kitty because it’s a cat and I’m a dog lover. Do you get what I mean? hehhehehe. Yes, I know I’m crazy. Anyways, back to the lil missy. Each time she sees Hello Kitty stuff, she’ll go wide-eyed, just like her mommy when she sees the big SALE sign on her favourite stores 
)
We were at Jusco the other day and they were having this Japanese/Korean fair at the entrance. The lil missy saw this cute Hello Kitty candy and asked to buy it. She even said it’s her favorite colour – purple, which is the closest colour to pink. I think if she were to see a life insurance dictionary with Hello Kitty on the cover, she would ask me to buy it too. Normally I don’t buy any candies for her but this candy in a metal tin reminds me of the ones I used to eat when I was a kid. The candy drops were round and colourful.
The candies I used to eat were bigger in size. I don’t remember the brand. Did you have those candies before?

i not a fan of HK…however i find that they r cute. I am similiar like u. I like dogs to cats. Cos cats destroy houses..ahahah or the car…

yes, i do!!! the type of candy i mean. but, heheh…i used to get jealous of kids at skool who had hello kitty everything…cos my parents hardly bought stuff for me
oh..during my time..got hello kitty?? i can’t remember but i just know that i was jealous of kids with those big box of colour pencils – 24 colours

Ahh…. If I remembered correctly, it’s Trebor. Right? Hahaha, anyway it was one of my favourite candy too. Those days, I was kinda stupid because the ‘white powder’ attracted me.
hehehhe…not stupid lah cos i was attracted to the white powder too. all kids love sweet stuff

Hello Kitty stuff is lots of girl’s love anyway..it is cute and sweet…my trip to Sg lately also saw lots of Kitty and somehow I think I like it too..but didn’t buy..

Ya ya, i remember this candies, i love the white powder, you know what, i don’t eat the candies, but i lick off all the white powder on the candies. hahahahhaha

Ooh I love both! The candy was called T-drops, I think. Never had the chance to eat them cos my mum never allowed. Recently I also fell in love with HK stuff… cute ma

i am a sucker for all these cutey containers. but i have slowed down a lot coz i realised that i have 2 full boxes of such containers which i don’t use. the containers are too precious to me that i don’t want to spoil it, hence i don’t use it *slap forehead*

Oh yeah, I remember those candies in the round tin box, covered with glucose powder. My brothers and I loved those candies when we were young. They came in different fuity flavors right? I’ve not seen them for a long time. The HK candies tin looks very cute.

I remember.. Trebors.. multicoloured but the tin can was kinda hard to open and close. I love them… that was part of our childhood and now for Ashley, it’s hello kitty candies..
