Wah.. so ex! I thought the prawn noodle at Little Penang was not bad, at a fraction of the price. This post reminds me of the most expensive Chicken rice I had in my lifetime.. S$22 per plate!!

EH! I was there on Sunday night lei, how come didn’t bump into you? Yes, Champ’s are famous for their prawn mee, but i’m not a prawn mee lover, so usually i opt for the fried keow teow. Like Health Freak mummy said, some of their local delight are good.

The dish looks good , though!! But I think RM20 for a bowl of noodles is too expensive. Having said that, most places like that charge that price for local food. Just telling my hubby yesterday, that RM50 nowadays does not get you anywhere

Barb, I ate the “sang har mee” and Ulu Yam when I came back from Genting, it was RM45, I found it expensive too and “heart pain”, but there were 4 big fresh prawns la! From the pic you posted, the noodle looked yummy also.

from the looks of it..i dont think its welcoming also… u know the Jalan Imbi Tai Shee Tau? In fact their birthday prawn noodle is quite nice. They have a few branches all over now but cost is min rm20/pax.
