Japanese Washi Tapes In KL

We were in Bangsar Village recently and I chanced upon this cute shop called Sundays.  At first I thought it was a shop selling home decor stuff.  When I went into the shop, I discovered that it is actually a shop with bits of everything.  You can find furniture, kitchen ware, candles, soaps and other knick-knacks.   What caught my eyes are the Japanese Washi Tapes which are also known as Japanese Masking Tapes.  I have seen these tapes from online stores in the US or Etsy but I didn’t know they are available here in KL.  You all know how much I love to wrap gifts eh?  More so using brown kraft paper.  Japanese Washi Tapes are great for decorating the gifts wrapped in brown kraft paper.

Here is an example of Japanese Washi Tapes on brown boxes/packages.  Nice? Image via thesweetestoccasion.com.

Here’s what I got – RM10 for the plain one and RM13 for the other.  Pretty pricey huh?

I have been using the tapes which I bought from Daiso and Mr. DIY to decorate the gift bags.  Below are some of creations I did.

Can’t wait to use my new tapes.  So if you are looking for Japanese Washi Tapes, just swing by Sundays at BV. (fyi, Sundays didn’t ask me to blog about them)
