Last October, we attended the Japan Charity Bazaar which was held at the Prince Hotel. There were about 40 booths selling food stuff, handmade items, clothing and accessories. Proceeds from the sale are channeled to 12 charitable organisations. There was one special booth which caught my eyes.  It was selling homemade candles and recycled bags from Cambodia.   I simply adore those bags which were made using recycled cement bags.  According to the lady who sold them, these bags are sewn by Cambodian tailors from poor families and women from the shelter.

Here is my elephant purse made from recycled Siam Cement bag

Nice?  If I am not mistaken, this wallet cost RM30.  Can’t wait to use it :)
