We actually left Mid Valley only around 3pm because the system was down at the Exhibition Centre and hence, those shops were not able to process our application online. Everyone who wants to redeem stuff would have to get the forms from the customer service counter. The queue was so long that hubby and I decided to hang around the mall first. Nope…I didn’t get anything for myself that day, eventhough I hopped over to MNG and Zara ;D
I received this in the email today…really funny so I thought I’ll post it in this blog.
This is a true account of what was heard on a recent flight from Shenzhen to Qingtao by China Southern Airlines:
‘Good afternoon, Ladies and the German. This is your cheap purser Wang Lui speaking. On behalf of China Sudden Airlines, I would like to welcome you on board our Bowling 737 from Shenzhen to Qingtao. Members of my crew speak Chinese and other languages that you do not know. It is a great pressure serving you to-die. Should you need any resistance during the fright, peace do pest the call button. I and my gals are available to make you feel comfortable. Meanwhile, the airkwaft is going to FRY. Peace sit upright and keep you belt tightly fastened until dinner is served at five dirty p.m. Hope you would enjoy your fright with us. Funk kill.’
One day while I was ‘kaypohing’ at some mommies blogs, I stumbled upon this All-In-One dish. This wonderful recipe is by Mumsgather in her MyKitchen blog.
Chicken, Tomato and Pasta Soup.
– 3 tomatoes
– 1 bombay onion
– 1 potato
– A few brocolli florets
– 2 whole chicken thigh and drum
– pasta (shells or spaghetti)
– salt, sugar and tomato sauce
1. Fill up slow cooker 3/4 quarters full of water or enough to cover all ingredients
2. Wash meat and put into slow cooker
3. Cut onions, tomato and potatoes into wedges and put everything into the crockpot
4. Cook on high for 2-3 hours
5. Add in brocolli florets and pasta and cook on low for 1 hour
6. Season with salt, sugar and tomato sauce to taste
Notes: Apart from brocolli florets, other vegetables like celery or whatever leftovers you have from your refrigerator can be used to add nutrition and taste to your meal. This soup together with the pasta is a whole meal on its own.
Update: I think I found out how this happened. Whenever you click Open Opportunity and see the opp in white..don’t grab it yet. You have to click Qualified Opportunity and if the o** in white is still available, then it’s safe to grab it. Strange huh?
