I was in the mood for some pancakes. So, I decided to make some for Ashley and hubs. Got some leftover evaporated milk from the steamed choc cake 2 weeks back. Mixed some all-purpose flour, a pinch of salt, some sugar, baking soda, an egg and water together. I made about 6 pieces of odd-shaped pancakes. Hubs ate one and asked me why the pancakes are so thin O_O. This is the Chinese style pancakes lah. Anyway, he did say they are good The lil’ missy also like it Sure look a bit like roti canai eh?

Ashley attended her first wedding dinner last month and it’s the wedding of her uncle (hubby’s youngest brother). This is the first time she sees her ‘sei sam’ (4th Aunt) as both the bride and groom are staying in another country. Ashley has met her ‘sei suk’ (4th Uncle) before but she couldn’t recognise him. Actually, she was quite afraid of him and keeps running to me each time she sees him. However, she began to warm up to him after seeing him a few times. Ashley is rather timid when she sees another man other than her daddy. I wonder why?

Below are some photos taken at the dinner. It was held in Tai Thong Imperial Palace Restaurant in Cheras. The food was good and as usual, I only get to eat maybe the first and second courses only. Ashley didn’t want to sit on the highchair and was very keen on going to the entrance and run around. My mother, sisters, hubby and I took turns to keep an eye on her. I wonder why I still can’t lose weight despite running after her all the time After looking at all the photos, I realise that I didn’t take a photo of Ashley by herself. Must be too busy running after her and hubby was busy chatting with the guests.
