Right now I am watching a rerun of this old TVB drama titled “The Seasons“. It is shown at 8pm from Monday to Friday on Astro. On one of the episodes recently, there was a scene about a woman seance in an attempt to communicate with the dead.

The female seance.
Ashley was watching this scene closely and then without a word, she went into the bedroom. She came out holding a t-shirt and did this….

The cheeky one said she’s just like the woman in the show and started mumbling like her. We all couldn’t help laughing at her silly antics

Last Friday after I took a shower and came downstairs, I found the house rather quiet. I thought hubs was checking out the rechargeable batteries online but when I went into the kitchen, I saw him fixing the kitchen sink.

What made me quickly went out and grabbed my camera was this ….

Little Ms. Hanny Manny was trying to be like her daddy and brought out her bag of tools. All these while she sat quietly behind him trying to fix something too. Occasionally, I heard hubs asking her to hand him the tape, turn on and off the tap and pass him the scissors. Too cute not to take a photo eh?

I always tell Ashley not lie to me like whether or not she ate cookies in school or junk food that her ‘gung gung’ gives her behind my back. I don’t allow her to eat too much of those things. So, I would tell her that I have eyes at the back of my head. In fact, I have ‘eyes’ everywhere and I can see what she does…..heheheheheheh. I remember the first time when I found out something and asked her about it. She was so surprised and asked how I knew. When I told her I have eyes at the back of my head, she was amazed!
A few days ago, I asked her to help me look for something. She said, “You have eyes everywhere, mom. You can get them to help you find it“.
*speechless*

Daddy redeemed the Leg Massage coupon a few nights ago.

Certainly didn’t look like she is a happy masseuse, eh?

Do you know that Mid Valley is promoting the Pirates of the Caribbean 4 movie at the Center Court? We were at Mid Valley yesterday and when Ashley saw the magnificent replica of the Pirates of the Caribbean “Queen Anne’s Revenge” pirate ship, she was in awe. The first thing she said was “I want to look for the treasure chest”!

She was excited to see many chests with lots of treasures like pearl necklace, diamonds and gold. Many people were seen taking the treasures out and posed for the cameras. After spending a few minutes checking out the ship and the decor, Ashley asked me where are the pirates. She was quite disappointed that she didn’t get to see any on the ship. Then suddenly, she stumbled on a few of them

Ashley got to wear a pirate hat for a while, courtesy of my dear friend, Mabel, the owner of Dragonfly Tattoo Studio at Mid Valley. Dragonfly has a booth at the center court in conjunction with the Pirates of the Caribbean promotion. It is offering airbrush tattoos, semi-permanent tattoos and hair wrap at the booth now.

Dragonfly booth
Mabel wanted to give Ashley an airbrush tattoo of a butterfly but she said she’s scared of the needles *slap forehead*. Then Mabel decided to give her a hair wrap cos pirates have hairwraps too.

The quirky Mr. Deep.

As usual, Ashley choose pink/purple threads.

This is how the hair wrap looks like. You can wash your hair as usual. To remove, just cut the end of the thread and pull the threads out.

Arrrr…..Me a beauty lass? What yer think?

Every day after she has done her homework at the office, Ashley would disturb her No. 1 fan, ‘Gung Gung‘. She’ll go to her grandpa’s room to chat, sing and perform. Sometimes she’ll drive her ‘gung gung‘ crazy because she wouldn’t stop talking or singing when he has to attend to a phone call or do some paper work. So, ‘gung gung‘ came up with a plan. That is to give her some work to do in order to keep her occupied. He would write some questions on a piece of paper for her to do, like the one below.

Grandpa also bought a Primary 1 English workbook for her to do. He’ll let her work on one page a day.

After finishing her work, she’ll be rewarded with an ice-cream or gummy bear. That would keep her quiet for a few minutes

My mom has her hair permed and occasionally after washing her hair, she would curl her hair with rollers. It is a normal to see my mom with rollers at home

A few days ago, hubs and I went out to do some errands and also to check out the home cellular booster. Ashley decided to stay at home with her por por. We were surprised that she didn’t want to follow us out. About 2 hours later, she called us and asked why we weren’t home yet. She told us to hurry as she has something to show us
Guess what greeted us when we reached home?

We went to The Gardens on Sunday as hubs was keen to check out some challenge coins. When we walked past Thomas Sabo, I stopped to take a look at their sterling silver accessories on the window. The missy quickly came over and look at them too. Then she asked, “Why are you looking at these mom? Are you going to marry daddy again?”. She fell into a fit of laughter after that. Now where did she learn that from?

wore her aunt’s sunnies and called herself Lady Gaga

We went out for dinner last night and spotted a dog training session nearby. Ashley was ecstatic to see the dogs as she just loves them. After spending about 10 minutes to watch the training, we went to have our dinner. While there, she kept telling us that she wants a dog so that she can train it. She went on and on about how much she loves a dog and etc. I told her we’ll think about it. In the meantime, I told her she already has 2 at home (toy dogs) and she can start training them now….kakakkkakaakaka

dog training session

Right after we reached home, she asked to tie up Tyson the rottweiler and Coco the poodle and took them for walks around the house. Then she asked them to “Stand” and “Stay”.

Stand on your paws, Tyson
My poor girl. We all love dogs but I don’t want to end up taking care of it. *Sigh* I know she will be asking for a dog again and again until she’s 16 (that’s when I told her she could have one).
