Sorry for not updating my blog more often. I have sort of lost my blogging mojo. It started slipping away at the end of last year. I seem to be without words or inspiration to blog anymore. I am also not concern whether I am making $$ or not with my blogs Unlike last year or the previous years where I would be chasing after advertisers, waiting in front of the computer to grab paid posts, logging into my accounts to check for work, hope that my blogs have ranks, etc. Things are changing and that is good. I haven’t given up on blogging yet. I’ll still blog but not so frequently I guess Been pretty busy with lots of other things … good things. The Year of the Water Dragon is going to be a great year for us. I just know it In the meantime, if you have seen my mojo, please bring it back to me.

Thank God It’s Friday already! This week is the 2nd week of the school holidays. I still haven’t done much with Ashley There are many things on my list that I would like to do this holiday like starting her on swimming lessons, doing crafts with her, taking her on a holiday, going on road trips, decorating for Xmas, etc. Blogging has been slow too. So much to do, so little done. I guess I am getting lazy and I think I am losing my mojo. I need to get everything back in gear soon! Have a nice weekend peeps!

Just a thought. Don’t you find it annoying when people brag about themselves? I have met people who boast about their achievements, their kids’ achievements, their new huge flat screen lcd tvs, the new car in their driveway, the vacation they took, how much they spent on material stuff, announced to everyone that their mortgage has been paid off, or what they have done for others. The list goes on. Tooting your own trumpet so loudly that no one else can hear themselves is just awful. I try to steer clear of people like that.

Then they are those who love to put a price tag on everything. There is a couple I know who do not fail to inform their friends that they have just spent $$ shopping for clothes, $$ for presents and etc. It has become so bad that friends are avoiding them. Worse is that their only son, a 10 year old, is beginning to sound like his parents. Many of us were taught from childhood that it is not nice to show off, brag or boast about yourself.

Braggarts are everywhere. I just wonder why they brag? Is it because they are insecure so bragging make them feel good about themselves? Or do they want people to think well of them?

How do you feel about people who brag? Do you speak up and silence them, act that you don’t care or do you tactfully change the subject when they start going into their bragging mode?

Making Changes To AirAsia Flight Booking

Last Friday, I needed to call AirAsia regarding a mistake on the name of one of the passengers. It was not a pleasant day for me. In case you do not know, you cannot amend the name of the passengers on their website. However, if you need to change the flight bookings, i.e. the date and time of the flight, you may do so online. There is no other way to contact their Customer Support except to call their Premium line which cost RM1.95 per minute.

After spending close to RM100 on phone calls (because I was put on hold for a long time), talking to the Customer Support who promised to amend the passenger’s name, it was not done at all. Lesson learned :

* Always double check the online flight bookings before you click OK.

* It is better to go to AirAsia’s sales office at KL Sentral to do the necessary changes than calling the Premium Line.

Anyway, I am so glad that he managed to get it done. If not, I think I won’t be able to sleep well and may need to get over the counter sleep aids.

Houston, we have a problem

During Chinese New Year, I like to buy some CNY decor for my house. I like to get Mystic Knots to decorate my porch and smaller ones to hang on the doors of my home. There is a slight problem hence, the reason for this post. My MIL also likes to buy stuff to decorate my home. When she sees me buying something, she’ll get something too. For example, I bought a butterfly knot to hang outside my home. When she saw what I did, she went out and bought a huge knot with a Chinese word for me to place outside my home. She said my butterfly knot is too small. Just so you know, we don’t have the same tastes. We are like night and day. This is just one of the things she bought. Anyway, we have more things in the house now because of this. All I can do is……

Om…om….om…om

I’ve been told that when I take a deep breath and chant Om, it causes a very calmful effect. It helps to draw my attention away from other tensions in my mind.

We just came back not too long ago from the mall. My cousin’s baby boy turned 100th day old and she held a celebration at a nearby hotel which is next to the mall. We left the house in the morning to avoid the mad jam which always happen when it’s almost Chinese New Year. Did some quick shopping before lunch and managed to get my CNY clothes Lunch was good and I ate so much that I probably need to take some phentermine later on. I am so knackered now.

Christmas celebration is over. In a few more days, we will be ushering the New Year. I cannot believe that 2010 passed by so quickly. Ashley will be in her final year in the kindergarten. I will be a year older soon. Arrggghhhhhh. When I was a kid, I can’t wait to grow up. When I was 8, I want to be 12 and when I was 16, I want to be 20. Now, I am just the opposite. I do not want to get older. I don’t quite look forward to the end of the year and all the festivities because I know I’ll be another year older. Silly me eh? Maybe I ought to take some hgh supplements to look and feel younger.

Cute Helmets For Children

This is a backdated post. I just found this photo in my album and thought I’ll post it up. When hubs was in one of his trips to Bangkok recently, he chanced upon a shop selling cute helmets for children while looking for retail cigars with his friend. He saw a pink ladybug helmet and knew for sure that his princess would love it.

What? This is not a pink helmet. It’s purple. Yup…hubs did get a pink one and his friend bought a purple one because his daughter loves the colour purple. Guess what? Somehow while packing or maybe it was when they came down from the plane, the men mixed up the bags. Bah! Hubs ended up with the purple ladybug helmet. If it was me, I would call my friend and tell her about it so that we can have the correct helmet back, right? Well, men don’t do this stuff, according to my hubs So, Ashley got herself a purple ladybug helmet. Cute?

Wrong Book

I was flipping through the books I bought yesterday and realize that one of them is not as good as I thought it would be *sigh* I guess my mind went blur when I saw all the books lying on the tables. Besides fiction and non-fictions, there were books about cooking, health, spirituality, what is the best weight loss pill, arts and crafts and many more. With the lil missy following me and asking me tons of questions, it was hard to focus. I just grab whatever I could find. Oh well, I’ll still read this book eventhough it’s the thickest I have but I think it would take me a while to finish the whole book.
