After reading about The Big Bad Wolf Book Sale at Irene’s blog, we decided to check it out today after Ashley’s dressing at the hospital.  I was anticipating a large crowd but thankfully, it wasn’t very crowded.  We didn’t have to queue to go in   Here is our loot -

When the lil missy saw this High School Musical booklet, she told me that she wanted it. Very badly.  She kept pleading “please, please, please, please buy it for me, please, please, please”.  Just because it’s High School Musical, she wanted it.  Yes, she’s into them now. Too much Disney Channel   This booklet contains 36 promises featuring the favourite characters of HSM.  It cost RM2.

Well, what do you know?  We didn’t stay at home after all.  Our friends invited us to dinner at the mall to celebrate their daughter’s birthday last night.  So I took the opportunity to visit the Cotton On store while the men were having some drinks at Coffee Bean before dinner.  The sale is still going on at Cotton On.  Some items are going for RM50 for 2 and some RM75 for 2.  I did not spend much time there because I did not want everyone to wait for me.  After dinner, I did not have much time to visit other stores either.  Bummer.  If there are any openings at the mall, whether entry-level or management jobs, I think I won’t mind applying for it.  I know I will enjoy working there because I can spend lots of time shopping.

Five Hour Shopathon

Thursday was a public holiday so we decided to go to the Sunway Pyramid mall for some shopping. We have not been there for a while now.  The reason why I wanted to go to Sunway Pyramid is because of Cotton On.  I have heard so much about this retail store that I want to check it out.  Cotton On stores are also available in other malls but only Sunway Pyramid has Cotton On Kids.  It took us quite a while to find the location of this store.  Bummer because we wasted a lot of time looking for it.  Sunway Pyramid has many stores but they are scattered all over the place.  I managed to buy some clothes from Cotton On Kids for Ashley *happy* but none for myself though.  We were so busy looking for the store that I forgot to shop for my colon cleansing pill.  Do stay tuned on what I found at Cotton On Kids.

Don’t Tag Me In Facebook

Online stores are sprouting like mushrooms these days.  Many friends of mine have set up online stores to sell clothing, bags or shoes.  There are also people I don’t know who request that I add them in Facebook because they have online stores.  I have since stopped adding them and even removed some of them from my account.  One thing that I am quite annoyed is when there are plus-sized clothing available, they tagged me in it. Ok…I know I’m not a Size 2 or 4 but I don’t need to be reminded that I can’t fit into those regular clothes which they feature in their album hence when there is a “bigger” size available, I got tagged.  Yes, I am sensitive about my weight!  So people who tag me on this will be removed from my friend’s list

I decided  to organize the shoe closet over the weekend instead of looking for the multi color led christmas lights.  Guess whata?  I discovered some of Ashley’s shoes which have not been worn   They are still a bit big for her now (mostly size 12 and she’s wearing size 11).  The thing is I was really surprised to see the shoes because I have totally forgotten about them.  Luckily I decided to do some spring cleaning.  If not, I think Ashley’s feet would have grown too big to fit into them.

My favorites are the the pink ones on top left hand corner and the white one on the right.   The white shoes are from Sketchers which my MIL bought in Toronto.  It cost CAN19.90 only.  Ain’t that cheap?  Saw a similar one here for around RM140 *shake head*   Do you think this will stop me from buying shoes for her?  Hmmm….I don’t think so   She has a shoeholic mom

I went shopping on Saturday while my sister, Jo ‘babysat’ Ashley….hehehehehehehe.  Actually the 3 of us were at the mall and my sister took Ashley around to her favorite stores like ToysRus and those that sell hair accessories while I went shopping.  Bliss   Almost all the stores have the SALE sign on their window and I could not resist not checking them out.  I bet if there is one which offers discount auto insurance, I would have checked it out too.  The first store which I head to was of course Zara.   Alas, I could not find anything I like there.  Drats!

Pretty Skirts For Girls

I love shopping for pretty skirts for Ashley as I love to see her wearing skirts.  Actually she only started liking skirts late last year What about your daughters?
