I am not very fond of Barbie dolls. Hence, I don’t buy any for Ashley but she’s such a lucky girl. She received a few Barbies as presents on her birthdays. Some come with accessories like scooter, slide, a horse as well as a pair of english riding boots. Very posh eh? One night after dinner, she brought out her little picnic porcelain set and laid down a cloth on the floor. Then she brought out her Barbie doll with fluffly hair and had a picnic with her. I love to see Ashley playing with her toys instead of watching tv.

Over the weekend, while I was checking out www.trustedquote.com for insurance quotes online, Ashley came up to me and said Charlie needed a good wash. Well, I think it’s about time too because Charlie is getting pretty dirty and has not taken a bath since she arrived at our home *gasp*

Getting ready for a good wash. She was wrapped in a towel and put inside the laundry mesh bag. Ashley was afraid that Charlie would be scared in the washing machine and she kept telling her it’s ok
Such innocence
Sometimes she treats Charlie like a doll and sometimes she thinks she’s real
I forgot to remove the milk bottle and after the wash, it was filled with water *slaps forehead*

A clean Charlie after being in the wash for 45 mins and out in the sun for 2 hours

We went out real early on Sunday and head to Midvalley for the Maybank Treats Fair. Sunday was the last day and by 11am, the exhibition hall where the fair was held, was in total madness. We walked around a few times, trying to decide what to redeem. Alas, I couldn’t find what I like
As soon as hubs saw this, he knew he had to get it for his princess

V Smile Pocket

A pink one which comes with a cinderella game
Unfortunately, we cannot use any points to redeem the V Smile Pocket. However, we can buy it at a discounted price of rm200 plus. About a year ago when hubs checked this portable game console out at ToysRus, it was selling at around rm400. This V Smile Pocket is fun and helps kids to learn skills like spelling, counting and problem solving.

Daddy teaching his princess how to play some games. Needless to say, Ashley is pretty hooked on this new toy

Yesterday evening, we went to Mid Valley for the Maybank Treats Fair. Since hubs collected many points from this Maybank credit card, the treats fair is a yearly affair for us. Shopaholic, what to do?
I got a hotpot to replace our existing one which is already 4 years old.

Kenwood Thermopot for 24,000 points

Hubs couldn’t decide what to get so when he saw this Skippy Ball, he had to get it for his princess. 9,000 points, I think.

When I first saw this Playgo Travel Mate in the Maybank brochure, I knew I had to get one for the missy. It is so colourful. I never had one like this when I was a kid
I think this one was redeemed with 13000 points.

Ashley said she wants to put her clothes in this bag when we go back to Ipoh next week
I know, I know….some time back, I did mention that we need to stop buying toys for Ashley. Sigh…we must really put a stop to this madness as our house now looks like a smaller version of Toys R Us that has been run over by a tornado. We have to be strong and not succumb to the temptation
