The weekend is finally here again. It has been a rather short week for me as I was off work for 2 days due to Ashley being unwell. She’s feverish and complain of having a boo boo in her throat. We are going to take it slow and easy this weekend. My friend has asked me to join her for some shopping as she’s helping her sister to shop for maternity dresses. Don’t feel like going out though. Hopefully I would feel inspired and start doing my next project

I’m so glad that it’s the long weekend. Time is going by so fast! Do you have something interesting planned? Going away for a short break? We’ll be sticking around … checking out the malls as I have some last minute gift shopping to do. Love shopping for gifts! I’m also looking forward to chatting with my besties on Saturday night. Been up and running since early this morning. Every Saturday is a busy one for me. Besides getting breakfast for Ashley, hurrying her to eat so that she can be ready for her enrichment classes today, it is also a day of cleaning for me. This morning, I started with doing laundry, washing Ashley’s school shoes, run some errands, prepared lunch and did some online work. Halfway through cooking, the gas ran out. What a day. Didn’t have much time to take breather until now. Next, I will have to look for up the rv insurance quote for a friend. Hope all of you are having a less hectic weekend. See you all on Monday

Another week has gone by in a whoosh. Wish it would slow down sometimes. Have you made any fun plans this weekend? I am having some mixed feelings this time. One part of me is looking forward to a calm weekend and another part of me wants to go to the mall. Haven’t been going to the mall for a while and also hubs wants to find out about unlocked cell phones there. Should I just go or stay at home? I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

…since Japan’s devastating earthquake and tsunami which left many homeless, thousands of individuals missing and dead. I was glued to the tv and the internet to read the news and watch the horrible event unfold. It breaks my heart to see images of the destruction and people looking for their loved ones. My thoughts and prayers go out to the people of Japan. I hope things will get better. Stay strong and stay safe, Japan!

Thanks for all your comments and advice, everyone. Ashley is getting better. She still has slight fever, coughing and a stuffy nose. Her appetite is still quite bad and takes forever to eat her food 
Yesterday while I was reading the gmac insurance review, she told me that her tummy was aching. I believe it was due to Augmentin antibiotics. It is one of the side effects of Augmentin. She experienced the same thing when she was a toddler. When I told her paed that she gets tummy ache after taking Augmentin, she said some children may be able to tolerate Augmentin when they are older, hence she prescribed her with it this time. I guess my kid is different. I have been giving her probiotics to ease the ache.
