Every year on the first day of the Chinese New Year, I would let Ashley wear a traditional clothing. It has been like a tradition already 🙂 Most of them were bought by her ‘kung kung’ 😀 I was looking at the albums in the computer and managed to find the photos of Ashley wearing traditional clothes during CNY from 2006 until now.
CNY 2006. Ashley’s first CNY with her por por.
CNY 2007 wearing a qi pao
CNY 2008 wearing an orange top and skirt which I bought from Yvonne
CNY 2009 wearing a pink ‘sam fu’
This year will be the same too. However we have yet to see her clothes as my dad is still in Hong Kong now. Will be back later today with the CNY clothes for his princess grand-daughter 😀
Um….can’t wait to see what Ashley wear? Is it going to be red, pink, orange, or maybe some very beautiful color.
Wow..the 2006 photo, Ashley was such a beautiful baby ler. I like all her CNY costumes. Can’t wait to see what “gong gong” got for Ashley. 😀

I like the traditional clothings.. but down here hor.. wear also no one see leh.. and so cold.. how to right..??
Ashley has grown so much over the years but one thing hasn’t changed a wee bit – her cheeky grin when you snap her pix hahahah, she’s cute 🙂
Ash is so pretty :)Every year my boys will wear traditional clothes too but this year no mood lah…haha…
This year can wear Nyonya clothes….in thing now after the Spore show on Astro!
it is so nice to see Ashely wearing different tradition clothings every year. I think more choice for girls, less choice for boys. I give my boys wear when they are about 2 years old, that is the only once, after that i don’t bother to buy. hahahhahahhahah
Can’t wait to see Ashley this year collection. 🙂
So festive feel with the traditional wear….my boy once got wearing that too and only wear it once…aft that keep and it outgrow…
Ashley look so adorable when she’s a baby! And now , I have to agree with your friends, she’s so pretty!
Ashley is lucky. I love to dress my two girls in traditional chinese dress for the 1st day as well, esp if we’re going out for dinner. I managed to buy them a dress each when I was in KL in Oct. You can get them in Sydney too, but not many choices and mainly made in Vietnam. Hong Kong will have a wide selection.
I’ve been doing the same too! Oh lets see if I have some pics. But mine, baru this is 3rd year, so even if I dig, only need to dig for 2 pics saje …
OMIGOSH !! She is getting prettier EVERY YEAR !!! You are going to have a heart breaker on your hands my dear!
