Last weekend, when we were doing our grocery shopping at the supermarket in our area, we saw many stalls selling mooncakes near the entrance. My husband picked up a mooncake brochure from Tai Thong and saw the snow skin durian mooncake. According to the lady who was manning the stall, this mooncake is the bestseller. Upon hearing this, my husband quickly bought one to try. He eats durian but not a huge fan of the King of the Fruit. As soon as he got home, he took a bite and thought he had gone to heaven! He said that it was like eating a piece of durian wrapped in snow skin. I’m not a durian lover but was persuaded to take a bite. LOL. I did and find it rather sweet though. Of course, my husband finished the whole mooncake by himself and he’ll be buying more of it ;D Here’s a pic of the mooncake.

I find most mooncakes very sweet. Though i quite like the snowskin ones but after eating, I feel like ‘fhan wai’ coz they are so sweet. The durian snowskin from Shang is very good… but sweet too, eeyer…
