My MIL will be returning to Toronto next Friday. It’s a last minute decision as she has actually planned to return next year. However, her youngest daughter-in-law’s baby is due next month and she can’t find anyone to take care of her during confinement so MIL will be there to help her out. Initially my SIL’s mum from Guangzhou has confirmed flying to Toronto to take care of her daughter but her visa application is taking far too long. So, my MIL had to go over instead and she made this decision just a few days ago.
Boy, this last minute airticket cost double, can you believe it? One way ticket to Toronto cost RM6k!!!! MIL is busy packing and buying last minute foodstuff and baby stuff now. My SIL also asked me to give her some of Ashley’s newborn clothing so I have to start looking for them. We still don’t know whether it’s a boy or a girl as my in-laws want it to be a surprise 😀 This means I can’t pack girly stuff for her baby 😀
