Sing A Song of Sixpence

Ashley loves “Sing A Song of Sixpence“. Each time when I sing it to her, she’ll follow me whenever she comes to the part that she’s familiar with. However, my lil’ munchkin was very cheeky for the past few days. She changed it a bit. Her version goes like this :-

Sing A Song of Sixpence
A pocket full of car (rye)
Four and twenty black daddy (birds)
Baked in the chair (pie)
When the pie was closed (open)
The birds began to dance (sing)
What a little dainty dish
to set before the ashley (king)
The king was in the counting house
counting out his coin (money)
The queen was in the parlour
eating bread and mommy (honey)
The maid was in the garden
Hanging out the fan (clothes)
Down came the black birds
and pecked off her eye (nose)

I wonder where she learned to be so cheeky and knows how to change the lyrics. LOL

Hey, I love to sing this song to the kids also. Ivan knows many many nursery rhymes, but Izac sometimes shake his head when I try to sing to him. Both boys are so different, like day and night, only thing they have in common is fight with each other *kekeke* j/k.
