I fell in love with bagels when I was staying in Toronto. When we came back, this is one of the food that I really miss. Whenever my in-laws come back to Msia, I would asked them to buy some back for me 😀 See how greedy I am? The truth is, I couldn’t find any bagels here. Then much later, I discovered a bakery at the Shangri-La Hotel which sell lots of them. So, I bought them whenever we were in that part of town. However, after the Shang’s renovation, I couldn’t find that bakery anymore 🙁
Then, recently, I was ecstatic to discover The Bagel & Coffee Station at Plaza Damas. I am so glad to see all kinds of bagels there. I can finally go back to eating my carbo-laden food 😀 Was there last week and bought some pumpkin seed bagel, plain bagel, sunflower seed bagel, garlic bagel and everything seed bagel. There are many other varieties so for sure I’ll be going back there again and try them out. These bagels are fresh out of the oven too! My husband only ate one so I got to eat them all by myself.

what a coincidence that you blogged about this cos i bumped into this place only 2 days ago! I bought bagels for lunch and despite looking rather dry, the taste was good!!! Though it was a tad expensive and service was slow.
bryan’s mama – heheeh…yeah they were quite expensive – RM20 for 6 plain bagels and yes, the service is extremely slow because the staff don’t even understand my simple order 🙁 sad! But then, i’ll still go back to buy them cos they are yummy 😀
