I am so in the CNY mood. Everywhere I go, I could hear the CNY songs. Actually I kinda like these songs. It’s only once a year so I don’t mind hearing them over and over again ๐ We just got back from the market and we got these *smile*
They are ‘Nin Kao” which according to my mom, have to be placed in the middle of the dining table throughout the Chinese New Year. Also need to place some mandarin oranges around them. I find that “Nin Kao” look better when they are wrapped in banana leaves ๐
yes yes..they definitely look better cooked and wrapped ๐
i haven’t eaten these for so long now.. ๐
i do that too….you can get the ones wrapped with banana leaves from the wet market
so in the mood, can do a tag? hahaha….

I love to eat nin koa, especially when steamed and eaten with freshly grated coconut. SO yummy…. but fattening ๐
also love those with banana leaves wrapped around…look so traditional hor ๐ (OMG, i m getting old!)
Hehe.. why your nin o looked one big one small keh? ๐
CNY soon! lots of thing to do! headache! headache!
