Busy Busy Days

Have been real busy these few days so that’s why I haven’t been updating my blog on a daily basis 😉 Yesterday night we went to a friend’s house for a barbecue and assam laksa. She cooked such a mean assam laksa that my hubby had 2 helpings….hehehhehe. I forgot to take a pic of the food, though…..was too busy eating. My friend was my schoolmate and she also invited a few other schoolmates so we were chatting excitedly to catch up on each other’s lives. It was a great get-together and Ashley enjoyed herself too as there were many children there. As usual, she was not shy at all and started going near the children and taking out the toys to play 🙂

My friend had done some renovation work on her porch recently. She has a Pergola built there and added a nice fish pond too. My hubby and I actually are quite interested in a Pergola as it’s pretty hot at the porch area of our house. Check out the pic below. Nice?

We asked for the contacts of the company which my friend got her pergola from as the price is quite reasonable. I was told that this company is a household name and most of her neighbours who built the pergolas in their garden were from this company. Not only that, this professional designing company is well known for their wrought iron product, skylights, stainless steel products as well as trade show displays, exhibit rentals and mobile marketing kiosk. We are going to contact them soon to get a free quote 😉 I can’t wait to have our little pergola.
