On Mother’s Day

Since my inlaws are in KL over the weekend, all of us celebrated Mother’s Day at our favourite restaurant. We went to Bumbu Bali, Puchong again 😀 Just can’t get enough of those msg-laden food…..hehehehehe. As my MIL, BIL and SIL had never tried balinese-style food before, we thought it would be a good experience for them. Actually my BIL and his wife wanted to go to Bali last week but they didn’t have much time (shopping and meeting with up relatives) so they decided not to. Well, at least they tried some Balinese food, eventhough they didn’t get to visit that place 😉 I’m glad that they enjoyed the food at Bumbu Bali. We went real early…around 6pm just so that we could get a table. They didn’t allow us to make any reservations because it was Mother’s Day. By 7pm, the whole restaurant was full. Here are some pics taken during the dinner.

Mah Mah & Por Por

Ms. Cranky Ashley

Nasi Champur with prawn, squid & fish

Champur Champur Tiga (chicken wings, chicken meat on lemongrass,
fried squid and mixed vege)

Nasi Petai (the 2 grandmothers shared this)

Moi and Ashley who refused to look at the camera, my SIL & her daughter

I was looking forward to their chicken salad but unfortunately, on Mother’s Day, the only food we can order are the main dishes. No starters, no pastas, etc. Kinda sneaky eh? So, I ordered a chicken and squid combo. Don’t know what happened to the photo of my food 🙂 Guess my hubby forgot to take a pic.
