After seeing how healthy Shireen (Healthfreakmommy.com) eats everyday, I wanted to eat like her too. Well, of course, I don’t think I can follow her exact diet but I want to stop eating noodles for breakfast every day. Instead I opt to eat something light. So, I bought some mixed fruits and nuts cereal and low fat milk yesterday 😉
My bowl of cereal
Guess what? Right after I have finished eating my bowl of cereal, I got diarrhea. Can you imagine how unhealthy I have been eating all these while? Just when I have something healthy for a change, I got diarrhea *slaps forehead*. Perhaps I should start with an Orovo detox first. I am going to continue with eating cereal for breakfast and see if I still experience tummy upset. Hopefully I’ll be able to shed some weight too by not eating noodles or maybe less noodles 😀

Your cereal looks sooooo yummy!!!
haha….for me, not easy for follow strictly for long ler…
we eat cereal every other days complete with yoghurt. Its very healthy and “detox” our system too! clearing your bowels might be a good things, cleanses your body in a way..: )
Actually ar, cereals are quite fattening. If you read the nutritional composition, the carbo content is very high. Anything high in carbo causes weight gain. The worst is corn flakes, very high in carbo. But cereals are still much better alternatives than noodles.
Eh, if you want to detox and cleanse your guts, try psyllium husk. Very effective. I take 1 tbs of psyllium husk with apple cider vinegar every morning. It’s known to prevent colon cancer too.
shireen – sei lor….i should read the labels when I buy cereal next time. better buy those that are have low carbo content 🙂 thanks for the tips to detox…will try it out 😉
We drink skim milk here. We are so used to it now that whole milk tastes funny to us.

I just whack everything and anything under the sky (yang I can eat punyalah.. haha!). Maybe should start opting for nutritional for now. Hrmmm…
