For the past 1 week since Ashley started her flu meds, I notice that her stools are very soft. On the first day when she took her meds, her stool was a bit watery and she complained of tummy ache. Luckily the pain went away in a short while. Then the next day, after she had her meds in the morning, she complained that her tummy was aching and when she did her poo poo, it was rather soft. I wonder if she has developed an allergic reaction to the meds. The flu and mucus meds are the same as what she had been taking all these while. I have started giving her a sachet of BiO-LiFE A.B. Pre & Probiotics daily. Her paed recommended probiotics when Ashley experienced tummy ache after her long bout of fever in May. The paed gave us a different kind of probiotics though. I bought the Bio-Life brand which was recommended by the pharmacist at Caring Pharmacy. Hopefully Ashley won’t have tummy ache anymore. She’ll be stopping the flu meds tomorrow. Do you buy probiotics for your children?

if I’m not wrong, its the Probiotics that is causing the soft stool. Maybe u can try stopping.
I feed my gals with probiotics but I don’t see any positive changes in their health. My paed does not believe in probiotics, though there are many paeds who believe in them.
