Ashley visits her kung kung once a week at his office. Last week when we were there, I brought along an orange sponge cake. BTW, this sponge cake is from a lil’ bakery near my house and it is simply delicious. I just love their breads and cakes…just thinking about them makes my stomach growls. Oh, the baker is actually Vien‘s cousin, a very talented young fella 😉
Ok, coming back to the sponge cake. When I brought it out for everyone to eat, the lil’ missy was so happy. She thought it’s someone’s birthday that day and she started to sing the birthday song 🙂 Then she asked where’s the candle and my sis had to search high and low for one.
Luckily she found one AND the lil’ missy wanted it to be lit up because she wanted to blow it. After the candle was lit, everyone had to sing the Birthday song and of course, she blew out the candle and clapped hands 😀 What is it with children and birthday cakes eh?

Every kids love blowing candles. My boy heard birthday song start blowing already even without a cake in front of him..

My girls LOVE cakes and blowing the candles too. Why eh i wonder? So their daddy buys a cake for all the occasions and festivals that there are in a year, just so they can blow the candle and cut the cake!

Eh..i didn’t know he could bake sponge cake..hahaha..i’m such a bad cousin. Anyway…looks like he will be baking Cassie’s bday cake, just as he did when Belle turned the big 1. I actually forced him to bake it..muahahaha…
