The herbal shop near our house has started to sell lanterns and mooncakes. When Ashley saw the lanterns, she was ecstatic. I was planning to get her the butterfly lantern but she has other plans. Ashley kept asking her daddy to take her to the shop to buy a lantern a few days ago and this is what she chose :-
an elephant which cost rm7.90.
She played with the lantern as soon as she came home 🙂 So what happened to the lantern now? She chucked it aside after playing with it only once.
So early..its only end of July. When is Moon Harvest Festival? Isn’t it always the case, you buy what they want, and play with it for a few minutes, and put it aside..I can definitely relate..sigh!
hey Macy. I think the festival is 2 month away. Most shops are selling mooncakes already. I asked the staff working there why are they so early this year. He said, early bird catches the worm 😀
I still have her very first latern with me, in case she wants another 🙂 Its a butterfly

Wow, time flies! My kids would be bugging me to get one for them at the wet market this Sat!
I still remember last year there was a big celebration in my area and all the kids got free lantern and food and so on. And I was still without a blog that time! Wow, time flies really fast! This year, Ethan will be able to enjoy the lantern festival! Ashley will enjoy playing with her elephant if there are other kids around playing together. I though she will ask you for Ultraman lantern!!!!
