sleeping in the hotels

I love sleeping on the hotel beds.  They are comfortable and firm.  I wonder what makes the mattress so comfortable.  Do they spend a lot of money on the mattresses and linens?  Has it got to do with the thread counts on the linens?  Recently we stayed at The Renaissance in Malacca and I do enjoyed sleeping on their bed.  As for Ashley, she loves staying at the hotel because she gets to do this ….

i also love doing what ashley did and i always do this at hotels! lol! but as a role model, i don’t do this in front of my kids. honest! 🙂

funny that you can sleep well in hotels, i cannot coz it takes time for me to adjust to a new place no matter how comfortable the bed is. btw, nice holiday updates and pics. interesting how you managed to find good food considering it’s ur first time there! 🙂

Hubs and I love hotel bed, hehehe… 5 star hotel bed is very expensive one… We once like this particular hotel bed, so we looked for the label and wanted to buy one…. guess what, one king size bed costs RM24k!! And also the bed sheet must be of good quality too..

I don’t have to bring both my children to hotels because they’ll jump on anything soft and big – sofa or bed. Sigh….

And I still prefer to sleep on my own bed. Got ‘that’ smell and couldn’t sleep without it 😛

Hi there! probably we paid for it, so it feels so comfy. I also love sleeping in the hotel beds and treated like a queen once a while. No need to clean and make the bed etc. hahaha!

  9. Ann says:

yeah…heard they have special mattresses. Even when buying mattresses, there is the hotel kind!

Anyway….only applies for really good hotels. not all feel nice to sleep in!

That’s why we are “always” checking in to hotels hehe :p Chloe doesn’t know how to jump on the beds though, cos it’s so forbidden at home, she doesn’t have this activity registered in her brain haha.

ahhh….it’s best that she doesn’t learn that …hahhahhahaa. Ashley is not allowed to jump on the beds at home…only at hotels 😉

Elyssa loves jumping on hotel beds too! When she wanted to jump on our own bed, I told her – “Cannot. Can only jump on hotel beds”. Keh kehhhh. She prob likes hotels so much cos she gets more freedom to do what she likes 😉

Ashley wants to jump on the bed at home too and i tell her the same thing. only jump on hotel beds. That’s why she loves the hotel so much 😀

i have always love hotel’s bed too so i made a research on the hotel beds many years back when i was about to buy our mattress, and i learn that many stars hotels actually spend more than 10k just for a mattress! One common brand is Sealy and I forgot the other brand.

  17. ipohgal says:

Strange, eventhough hotel’s bed is more comfortable, but I still prefered my own bed- my ‘kow tau’ but I loved their bath tubs because I don’t have one at home! Hahahaha
