Ashley’s school organized 2 tea parties this week, one on Tuesday and one today. The tea party on Tuesday was held amongst her classmates. I decided to pack some party packs for her and her classmates at the very last minute 🙂 I wanted to buy the small brown paper bags but couldn’t find it at the shops near my office. I don’t understand why it’s so hard to find them. Anyway, I had to make do with zipper bags. I got some smaller plastic bags (so not environmentally-friendly) and ribbons too.
I put 2 marshmallows in each small plastic bag and tie a brown bear ribbon around it for the boys
I did the same but with pink ribbons for the girls
Filled the zipper bags with some rice crackers, sweets, choc and the marshmallows.
I’m glad I managed to get something for Ashley’s class. No more tea parties until next year 😉 ‘Horrordays’ start today and I overheard Ashley saying that she’s bored this afternoon. Dear God, please help me to get through the next 6 weeks.
Hi Aunty Barb,
Waa I miss tea party in my school =_=” The way you package the marshmallow is so cute, love the ribbons btw, there’s no way my Ma will be that neat, so envy Ashley haha Indeed, actually it’s hard too to find a paper bag here, I have no idea why is that.
Ups, seems that now Ashley has a same favorite word like me ‘bored’ hahaha… ^0^
Have a nice weekend Aunty! Take care 😀
Horrordays… hahaha!! Your party pack is so nice and detailed! I just bought and passed the goodies in their original packaging to Chloe’s teacher. Let them open and distribute among themselves 🙂
Ohhh… the marshmarrow itself is cute enough! I would screech with glee if I was her classmate!^-^
Have a jolly weekend!
Wow, How neat you prepare goodies for Ashley’s tea party. Haa, I never did that before *paiseh*. Shenny also had her class party on the last day of school, I only let her bring two packs of candies for her teacher to distribute among her classmates.
Wow, Ashley starts to feel bore now, why not enrol her into any school holiday program?
Horrordays, lol!! Perhaps you can engaged her with some extra activities, e.g drawing or dancing?
I like how you packed the goodies. Looks very neat and cute, especially the marshmallow packing 😀
I like the way you pack the marshmallow! Perhaps, help you with ur house chores or drawing class/other enrichment class should be fine.
aiyooo…you didn’t remind me about the brown paper bag. I didn’t know you want it for this tea party. 🙁
I like your simple “party pack” very very nice. 🙂
Your horror day start? hahahhahahhahaha..My boys will stay at home for two weeks, then go for their holiday programe at kindy for two weeks, then rest another two weeks, at least not so bad. We try to arrange some activities on weekend ok. 🙂
I love the pink heart ribbons 🙂 I have enrolled Sherilyn in her pre-school’s holiday program for 2 weeks 😀
Your packaging is so neat. 🙂 Oh…school holiday started already in Msia. I’ve lost touch lah..haha.
Love the way u packed the marshmellow… so cute and chic!
Hahah.. 6 weeks hor.. enjoy your horrorday with Lady Ashley..
So nice of you to do this. Looks really good and not so much junk food too. 🙂
Nice party parks, Barb, you well done.
looks fantastic for a last minute stuff Barb!!! i think i need to learn from u in future 😉
hahahaha.. i think Ash is keeping you on your toes with lotsa Q&A’s… 5 more wks Barb.. 5 more wks.. 🙂
the party packs are very nice. I plan to bake cuppies for her last-day-of-school party next Tues. For once, for missing so many birthday cakes.. she will get to eat her own cake but I hope the other kids won’t complain about the taste. no butter, no eggs = less tasty cuppies
Ack! Looks like a lot of work! Very nice idea…..very pretty. Where can you get non-environmentally friendly tiny plastic bags???
none 🙁 if i could find the brown paper bags, then i won’t have to use the zipper bags so less plastic 😀
