I have been browsing some creative craft blogs lately and have been very inspired by them. Hence, I decided to do something a lil different this year for some of the pressies. When I was reading the New Straits Times last week, I came across a whole page of orange layout.
It was the Season’s Greetings from NSTP and they encouraged the readers to use that page to wrap their gifts. I quickly saved that page and use it for one of the presents that I am planning to wrap.
Here is my plain looking orange present.
Then I decided to cut out a few 5-inch strips from the newspaper (stock exchange pages) and tape the ends together with double-sided tape. This is to create a flower bow as gift topper.
Tadaaaa….a gift with newspaper as wrapper and decoration 🙂 What do you think? I hope the recipient of this gift is ok with the recycled wrapping paper 🙂
this is lovely..what do you mean by recipient is ok?? she or he will be very pleased looking at this.
thanks WF 🙂
