Ashley asked why we did not get a pumpkin since Halloween is coming. Thanks to all the Halloween decor at the malls and also the cartoon shows. She also said she wants to go trick-o-treating. Anyway, I was blog-hopping at some craft blogs and came across this cool idea and decided to surprise Ashley with a pumpkin.
It’s “Mr. Wilson Pumpkin“. I used her basketball as it has the same shade as the pumpkin. Cut out the eyes, eye brows and mouth from a piece of black paper and tape them onto the ball.
The missy was thrilled and asked to take a photo with her ‘pumpkin’ 🙂
Have a Spooktacular weekend everyone 🙂
Wow! Wat a Great Idea!!! Hm… Too bad we don’t have a basketball at home…

My kids on the other end reminded us NOT to buy halloween decor for Halloween though..they are too spooked by it! esp Aidan!
Hehehe, very creative indeed!
My girl also asking for jack o lantern, let see wht we got… lol!
Happy weekend to u too!

Happy weekend and happy Halloween to you as well!
My boys too, asking how come this year no invitation to trick or treat. Last year they went, they had so much fun and it is a good experience for them too.

Bangsar Shopping Centre is having this trick-o-treating walk this weekend from 3:00pm to 5:00pm (registration starts at 12:00). I’m sure Ashley will love it very much.
Ashley has a great JUMPING PUMPKIN!
what a cute ‘pumpkin’
What a cute idea!
happy weekend & happy halloween
Barb, you reminded me of the movie Cast Away. But, it is a very creative idea, the most important thing is Ashley likes it. You have a great weekend too.
Wow…I admire you creativity! Looks cute thou…
Happy Halloween to you 🙂
Muahahahaha, at one glace when the page was uploading, I really thought it was a real pumpkin! Hey, I saw those pumpkins for carving at Bangsar Village and boy, they cost RM100 – Rm200 for a medium size. THe gigantic ones are more than a RM1k each!!
Very creative indeed! 🙂 I had a fairly large pumpkin at home and had this crazy idea of carving it too.. but then it wasn’t orange in colour so no point lah… the outcome won’t be nice anyway hehe..
