a lil surprise

Hey everyone.  Many thanks for your comments, feedback and advice on my previous post.  Eventhough I don’t like the method being used to discipline the children in the school, I guess I have to accept it as long as Ashley is attending a Chinese school.  I hope Ashley will learn to accept this too. She seemed okay after school today.  Oh, she also brought back a form which at first I thought was for extra classes in school or a flyer on yoga certification course.

It is actually for the RM100 cash handouts for students in Malaysia, given by the government.  Many have already received the monies at the end of last year or beginning of this year.  I thought there won’t be any for Year 1 pupils and we would have to wait till next year.  I am quite surprised to see the form 🙂  Has anyone with Year 1 children collected the cash already?  Is this a one-off thing?

Just wondering why didn’t you send her to kebangsaan school. My kid is 4 years old now, I am considering whether to send her to chinese or kebangsaan school.

I hope Ashley will be able to cope and get used to the system soonest possible. I guess so long you do your work, live up to the teacher’s expectation, one will be safe? 🙁

Have you ever consider sending Ashley to a private school?
