Paper Flower For Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is tomorrow so I thought I would do a Valentine’s Day craft just for fun. I saw this Paper Flower tutorial by Wanda Wen on yahoo.com yesterday. If you don’t want real flower for V Day, you may try making this for your loved ones.  Below are the steps …

v1

I used the Japanese Fancy Paper which I bought from Daiso.

v2

Take out a piece and put the blank page facing up.

v3

Ashley doing the paper flower too

v6

v1

v7

Glue the 5 petals together using double sided tape.  Below are the last steps.

v2

I used an orange crepe paper and a bamboo chopstick to make the stem.  First, cut out a piece of crepe paper and use it to wrap the top part of the bamboo chopstick.

v3

Slide the chopstick through the middle of the flower to create an orange stigma.   Here’s my simple d-i-y Paper Flower.

Happy Valentine’s Day Everyone.
