On certain days when we are not rushing, I like to braid Ashley’s hair. I think she looks cute wearing her school uniform and hair in braids.
On most days, she’ll ask for ponytails. Yeah, mommy is the hairdresser for now. Ponytails are of course the easiest to tie, much easier than having to wipe a hard drive. Sometimes Ashley would ask for one ponytail and it has to be wayyyyy up if you know what I mean. Missy Fussy pot doesn’t like it when the pony tail sits in the middle of her head or bottom. Of course at the end of the day, her hair is pretty messy because the hair at the back are not long enough.
My girl keeps begging me to allow her to keep her hair long but I really dislike playing her hairdresser. Terrible mommy, huh. I dunno, I jes don’t hv interests in hair! 😀 And I get extra ‘mang chang’ when we’re rushing for time n I still hv to tie her hair. But I do agree, girls look extra sweet in 2 braided hair.
When MIL was away for 2 weeks, my girl goes to school with pony tail everyday. That’s the best I could do. haha…..
At least you can play hairdresser. I dont have a girl to do so.
I like to tie this type of braid for my girls too. But it only looks nice on May. April’s hair volumn is too huge to manage.
I have now trained Sherilyn to tie a bun on her own and she can do it pretty well now 🙂 For Cass, I clip up her hair or tie it up nicely every morning. By 12:30pm when I pick her up, my oh my, the clips are dangling on her fringe, headband on her forehead and hair ties almost coming off!! LOL!
I always tie ponytail for Gwen only..haha…we are always rushing in the morning for school. I want to braid her hair but her hair is not thick enough so a bit susah.
My girl asks for braid and bun alternate day. I offer her the simplest way – ponytails, but she whines and cries until I give up.
When my daughter’s hair was long, I also used to tie ponytail on most days. On days when we have more time, then I’ll braid or do pig tails. Luckily she has short hair now. Phew! LOL.
today qiqi asked for a bun, but i just don’t have time to explore how to make a good one 🙁
Cute…I should let my girl keep her hair long so that I can experience the joy of tying pony tail 🙂
I forbade my daughter to keep her hair long during primary school because she has very thin hair and the school only allows bun, nothing else. So, like most girls, she worn short hair. But now in secondary school where ponytails are allowed, she is growing her hair. Everyday, she spends about 20 minutes just to tie her hair for school, sigh!
