during school holidays ……

Whenever my mum is around, the missy would want to stay at home with her pops (her por por whom she calls pops now) instead of following me to the office.   I prepared a time-table for her so that she would know what she has to do at home.  Otherwise, she would be sitting in front of the tv all the time 😛  Her schedule –  10.00 am is her Mental Maths homework, 2pm is her Bahasa Malaysia revision and 5pm is her English revision.  In between, she can watch a bit of tv and play.  I bought a whole stack of Bahasa, English and Chinese workbooks for her, to keep her busy this school holiday.  I would check her work at night.  As for the Chinese workbooks, I leave that to her tutor.

busy busy

She also gets this magazine subscription from her school.  It is an educative magazine which provides stimulating exercises on various subjects for school children.   Since they are  many issues which she has not completed, I asked her to complete them this school holiday.

The missy also spends time  bullying playing with her pops and this is what she did to her one day.

Putting a barbie sticker on her back without her knowing it…..muahahahahaha.  Naughty girl!

  2. Just wonder does Ashley really stick to your timetable when you are not around? As for my girl, I am sure that she would not.

Yes, she does, according to her pops 🙂 She would look at the clock all the time to check and make sure she does her work according to the timetable 🙂

Wah, Ashley is such a good girl to follow mummy’s timetable. My boy won’t even do a page of homework!!

Wakakakaka! My daughter treats her ah gong as her toy, too!

I only give her some mathematics multiplication and she enjoys the rest of the time playing, computer, iPad and watching TV.

Barb, April also bought this 3M magazine every month. I find it good to be their revision material. Same here, I will let my girls work on workbook 5 pages a day.
