weekend craft

Usually I leave it to Ashley to sharpen all her pencils and colour pencils.  I dislike blunt pencils and I have told her many times to write or colour only with sharp pencils.  Decided to spot check her yesterday and found all of them in bad condition.  I helped her to sharpen everything.

Since we have so many pencil shavings,  I decided to do a craft with her.    Saw this craft online some time ago.

First we did some flowers.  After gluing the shavings on a piece of paper, Ashley drew the stem and leaves.

 Colouring

A butterfly

I drew the girl and Ashley glued her skirt.

The whole picture.  I call it A Little Girl In The Garden 😀   Had fun doing it.

The drawing of the smiley girl in pencil shaving tutu skirt is very cute! I wonder, what do you do with all of Ash’s craft and art work? Do you file them for a while and then discard? Or they are all for keeps? I am facing storage prob. as we live in a condo and I dont know what to do with all my kids’ art work!
