Farm In The City Seri Kembangan

We made a trip to the Farm In The City yesterday. Ashley and her cousin were so looking forward to it for the past few days. It rained a bit in the morning and by 10am, the rain had stopped. It was such a cooling day and just perfect for the outing.   There weren’t many visitors at the farm yesterday.  Entrance fee for adults is RM30 and children is RM25.  There is special discount for seniors too.  The farm is not very big and we did not have to walk far to get from one place to another.  There are all kinds of farm animals such as chicken, birds, ducks, goats, swans, geese, a bull and tortoises.  Also available are peacocks, prairie dogs, kangaroos, snakes, skunk, iguanas and many more.    Here are some photos of the trip.

Feeding Aldabra, the giant tortoise.  They enjoy being so close to the tortoise which kept eating the vegetables.

Pony ride for RM7.

Feeding the swans

Having fun playing with the rabbits

Carrying a skunk.  I think it looks very cute.  It was either afraid or preparing to spray as it looks as if it was lifting its legs up, covering the ears.

The kids said they enjoyed it very much and had loads of fun. Farm In The City is a very nice and family-friendly animal farm/petting zoo.  Many animals roam freely here in special enclosures with door stops.  It is definitely a fun and educational activity for the family.
