Yesterday was a pretty hectic day for me. Hubs and I participated in the Institut Jantung Negara (IJN) Run which was held at Taman Wetlands, Putrajaya. It was a 8-km run. We reached the venue at around 6.30am but the flag off was only done at 7.45am.

Participants had to run on this trail path which is about 4km long around the park. We weren’t aware of that earlier, otherwise I would not have participated because such path is pretty dangerous as there are many big stones along the way and I wasn’t wearing my trail running shoes.
Pretty heart shape balloons given to the runners before the start of the race. It is a nice gesture but many were running with the balloons and that caused some inconveniences as it blocked the view of the runners behind and some balloons got tangled up. Runners had to stop to untangle the balloons. Despite these little things, it was a good exercise for us. As soon as we finished, we rushed home to get changed as I have get ready to open my stall at Publika.
This is Unikbarang‘s lil stall and my lil helper was so eager to help me sell my things. It was fun although I was very tired. My family and my best buddies, Annie and Elaine came to visit us. That’s how our weekend went. How’s yours?
