The haze is getting really bad these 2 days. The Air Pollutant Index in KL and surrounding areas are between 140 to 200 which is at a very unhealthy level *sigh* The drought is causing peat fires everywhere. A friend posted in Facebook yesterday about using Artificial White Vinegar around the house to neutralize the air. So I went out and bought a bottle of vinegar and pour them into 3 bowls. I filled up half of each bowl and placed them at three corners of the living room.
I don’t smell the choking haze inside the house anymore after placing the bowls around the house. Actually, I accidentally bought Rice Vinegar instead of Artificial White Vinegar. I was in a hurry and saw a rack full of bottles of vinegar at the shop. I just grabbed one and went to the counter to pay. It still works though maybe not as strong as Artificial White Vinegar 🙂 Let’s hope that rain would come soon and there won’t be anymore haze.
Vinegar got so much of usage.
My area here also very hazy. I dare not open the bedroom’s window. Sigh…no fresh air. I wonder when will the rain start to fall.
