We bought Ashley an English to Bahasa Malaysia and Bahasa Malaysia to English Oxford Dictionary from Popular bookstore a while ago. After using it for a month, Ashley realized that some of the pages were blank. Upon further checking, there are more than 20 blank pages. I was a kind of upset as I have thrown away the receipt of the purchase. Luckily the Popular price tag was still at the stuck to the back of the dictionary. Nevertheless, we went back to a Popular bookstore outlet near us and explained to the staff there. Although we did not purchase from that particular outlet (I have actually forgotten which outlet we bought it from), the manager in charge was willing to exchange and gave us a new one.
I am glad that we managed to get it exchanged with a good copy. Lesson learnt here. Must always check the books we purchase before we leave the store.
