So, 2 weekends ago, my family and I went to Petaling Street to shop for some Chinese New Year craft and decor items. I just love the baskets I bought from my favourite shop – The Basket Shop along Jalan Panggung.
My loot from Petaling Street. The small baskets are RM8 each. The big one is RM30.
This is what I did to the baskets.
Love the vibrant red colour.
A tub of pineapple cookies, mandarin oranges and snacks.
Put everything in and added a pink peony to the basket. Do you like my gift basket?
For those who want something different rather than Chinese New Year cookies, Sibu Kampua Noodle makes a good Chinese New Year gift basket too. Just add in a packet of Chinese sausages and some mandarin oranges.
