Time flew by this year. The Winter Solstice Festival which is also known as Tang Yuan or Dongzhi Festival is here. According to my mother, the Winter Solstice Festival is even more important than Chinese New Year. It is the day that family get together and eating tang yuan symbolizes reunion.
Are you making your own tang yuan (glutinous rice ball)? This year we bought the ready-made ones and just boiled our own sugar syrup.
