You know those moments when you’re not looking for anything in particular, and then the universe decides to reward you anyway? Yeah. This was one of those days. I was browsing at my regular market stall, the usual same place and same routine, when I spotted a white tee.
At first glance it was just cute, and I just noticed the blue scallop motifs on the neckline of the t-shirt. Turns out, it’s a Cath Kidston x Miffy collab which I never knew existed. Now that explains the adorable motifs that Cath Kidston does so well. There’s also cute embroidery of flowers and Miffy the white rabbit on the front and the sleeves.

Now here’s the best part – RM5. Five. Ringgit. I actually had to pause for a second to make sure I saw that right. What a steal for a new T-shirt! Without hesitation, I took it. There is a slight downside – it’s a size Large, and it’s definitely quite big on me. But honestly? I can already picture myself wearing it loosely with shorts for a casual day out, or just embracing it as comfy house wear.
This is why I love browsing at the market so much. You never know what kind of hidden gems are waiting, sometimes it’s a designer collab you didn’t even know existed, sitting there for RM5, ready to make your day.
