I was going through Ashley’s books from the kindergarten last week and came across her drawing book. I think her teacher would give them a theme and they have to draw something out. When I saw this page titled “Under The Sea”, I couldn’t help laughing. The sea creatures are so funny. There is an octopus which looks like a spider. A crab that looks like Sebastian from The Little Mermaid. The funniest of all is the grey shark. Can you spot it?
The shark’s teeth are outside its mouth! This is really hilarious. I asked her to explain her drawings to me and she made up a story about the fishes being caught by the shark’s teeth..etc…hahahahaha. One thing that is constant in all her drawings is the colour pink. At least one object in her drawing must be in PINK!
I thought it was a really good piece of art. She could identify and draw the different species of underwater creature.
thanks PL 🙂 yes i like her art and i think she’s pretty creative 🙂
I didn’t spot the shark, thought it’s a huge stone on the sea floor. Now you pointed out the teeth, yeah, I saw that special shark, teehee!
I recognized sea turtle, fishes, crab, whale, jelly fish and squid (is it??). Okay, I wouldn’t know that is octopus, until you mentioned. LOL, sea spider~
Was that a shark? I thought it was crocodile. lol!
Oh, what a lovely and cute drawing! These are the things that you want to keep forever for Ashley to laugh over when she grows up ya 😀
Her inspiration must have been the Little Mermaid. That’s a pretty good drawing – love to see kids’ drawings! 🙂
Ashley is full of imaginative. Her imagination about Shark is very funny and cute. I can’t help laughing, she has truly made my day.
I guess thats her ‘innocent’ imagination and drawings.. 😉
Her drawing is very cute! I like her Sebastian the crab 🙂
Maybe it is not shark but swordfish? 🙂
I like her drawing very much. Not easy to come out with this piece of art if you ask me :)But why the whale look so sad? Errr…that is a whale right?
Her drawing is very nice. Oh…the shark is funny lah..haha. Love her imagination. 🙂
Cute funny but actually not bad already ler. At least make out most of what she’s drawing..;)
LOL, I had a great chuckle when i saw the set of angry teeth outside the shark’s mouth! Happy weekend Barb 🙂
Hahaha….not a bad artist, your girl! It is always a pleasure for mommies like us to look at our children’s drawings. My own children’s drawings are hilarious too when they were your daughter’s age. But they will draw better as they grew up. Be patient, this takes time.
very cute. i noticed she draws the many different kinds of fish and the crabs eyes pops up. Very creative, she takes after you on the creative front ?
hahahhahaha..i heart the shark!! Look at the long teeth! She sure very imaginative and creative just like the mummy.
