another visit by the toothfairy

Brought Ashley to the dentist again last week because another new tooth is coming out.  As usual, her milk tooth was still standing strong.  She looked forward to the dentist’s visit.  When the magic potion aka the needle was being administered, she was fretful.   Then when it was time to extract the tooth, she was a bit scared.  However, everything was over in about a minute.

See the new teeth? They are growing from the inside of the gum.  I asked the dentist if the teeth would come forward and he said give them time, the teeth would move forward by themselves.  Phew!

The missy was rewarded with a cup of ice-cream after the dentist visit.  Toothfairy forgot to drop by on that night so there was a little drama in the morning.  I told her perhaps the toothfairy was busy that night since there is only ONE TOOTHFAIRY for all the children *roll eyes*  The next night, the Toothfairy made sure she did not forget and left rm2 under her pillow…hehehehe.

My girl’s teeth is still standing strong. No sign of lose tooth.

But I didn’t introduce tooth fairy to her during her tooth extraction last year. Guess I can get away with it in future ~~:D

Barb, you have spoilt the market of toothfairy. She only gave my kids RM 1 for trading in a tooth.

hahaha.. the tooth fairy on my side forgot to do her duty too, the last round. So I had to make up stories too … yes, I also think it is cute for children to believe in fairy tales and tooth fairy .. and my girl is very into it … I don’t even remember whether I believed in fairy tales and tooth fairy when I was younger …

Oh yes…Mei Mei have her very 1st visit to dentist last week..and I was freak out! Previously, I bought Jojo to private clinic …and the service is so-so…the fee is huge…RM70 to pull out that shaking front tooth! This time I bought Mei Mei to local govt. clinic..the service is amazing well…very friendly “Kakak” (aka dentist)…tooth was pull out within second before Mei Mei knows what to expect – a sweet sticker was paste on her chest…”make her too proud to cry”…. and zero fee was charged!
Hurray! for mom and mei mei!
