New Words

It is really true that when children are young, their minds absorb things like a sponge absorbs water. Sometimes, Ashley could really surprise us with things she say or do. Recently, she has started to speak a bit of Manglish 😀 (must have heard us talking). When we were in the car one day, she said, “Ai yo….so many lanterns. See?” :/ Once when we were in the market, she exclaimed loudly while pointing to the floor, “Ai ye….so dirty.” I hope she won’t make a habit of saying Ai yo or Ai ye all the time, otherwise, I will surely *pengsan*.
