our short trip

Today we made a short trip to Malacca after we brought Ashley to see Dr Wong in Tangkak for her allergy.  Will blog about her allergy later 🙂   We arrived in Malacca at about 11.30am and made our way to Jonker street, as usual.    All the chicken rice shops were packed to the brim so we settled for noodles at one of the coffeeshops.   It was a really hot day and after walking around, we dropped by Shan Shu Gong for some ice coffee and durian chendol.

It was really sweet and I could only take a few spoons of it.

Then we proceeded to walk over to the Stadhuys eventhough we have been there so many times.  There was a hive of activity at Stadhuys.  All kinds of souvenirs can be found there apart from the colourful trishaws. Today we discovered something else too.

A man dressed in army gear was there with his big bike and accessories.  Those who are interested can sit on his bike and take photos for RM3.  Ms-Not-Shy-Anymore was very eager to sit on it and pose *shake head*  We left Malacca at around 3pm after some shopping 🙂

A few years ago, an old Chinese man with an albino python kept inside his trishaw operated at this same spot! He charged RM10 for a pose. BTW Ashley looks pretty in this photo!
