The Parrot

We were in the car one day on our way to my dad’s office and a car on the left suddenly cut into our lane. Luckily my husband was able to brake on time. Of course he was very annoyed but didn’t honk the driver. He just muttered, “Stupid Ass!”. Now, the lil’ missy who was sitting at the back of the car heard what her daddy had said. She then repeated those 2 words, over and over again. We were gobsmacked! We told her it was a bad word and she shouldn’t say it anymore. She said ok and stopped repeating the words. Recently, she started saying “Stupid Ass” again. She knows it’s wrong and would smile sheepishly each time. We have been telling her that it’s a bad word and she should not say it anymore. Guess what? She now mouthed the words O_O

LOL don’t worry, even if your hubby hadn’t uttered those words, your dd will still pick them up from school sooner or later.

They start very young these days and you’ll be surprised at the range of flowery multilingual vocab out there.

Yes, we have to be careful with our words when talking in front of Gwen too.
