Cafe Hopping In Melaka

During the Malaysia Day long weekend, we spent a night in Melaka. Stayed at the trendy Styles Hotel which is a very convenient and lovely hotel. It is just across the street from H&M building. It was drizzling when we reached Melaka at 10.30am. We walked along Jonker street in our raincoats and decided to visit the cafes.

Our first stop was The Daily Fix. This cafe is situated inside a souvenir shop that sells handmade crafts. I love the heritage building which houses this cafe. There is just something about peeling walls and vintage decors which I love. Besides coffee, this cafe is famous for its fabulous pancakes. Alas, we couldn’t get a table there as the queue was very long.

Our next stop is Heesan Kopi. I love the decor of this cafe. An Instagram-worthy cafe for those who love taking photos.

We checked in to the hotel after our coffee break and took a rest. After the rain has subsided, we walked out to Jonker street again to grab some snacks. I read about the Baboon House online and decided to drop by.

The Baboon House is along Heeren Street (Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock) and you have to walk slowly to spot it. There is no one at the front to greet us that day. We just pushed opened to door and came to a living area.

We saw some guests inside and walked straight in.

Love the quaint and charming cafe which features a laidback atmosphere. I like the tranquil open-air courtyard which offers a spacious seating area.

Hubs ordered Porky burger which is very good.

Missy had the delicious popcorn chicken and I ordered a bacon salad. Forgot to take a pic of my food. We did not order any gourmet coffee as we had ours earlier. Will definitely come again.
