It’s “Dongzhi” or Winter Solstice Festival already this coming Monday. Many people will be preparing and making “Tang Yuan” or glutinous rice balls. Mmmm…..delicious!!! My mom will be making them as usual. I hope Ashley would like eating them. Of course, I’ll get mom to make more pink colour “tang yuan” since Ashley likes everything that’s Pink 😀 Mom’s glutinous rice balls are pretty simple with no fillings and they will be in different sizes and colours. She’ll cook the balls in syrup water with pandan leaves. Maybe this year, I will try to make something different 😉
