Cry Baby

On Saturday night, we went to my husband’s aunt’s house. There was a farewell buffet dinner for my husband’s cousin and her family. They came back from Texas for a holiday and would be leaving in a few days’ time. We reached the aunt’s house around 8pm, after Ashley had her dinner at home. As soon as we stepped inside, she saw so many people, especially some unfamiliar looking men and she started bawling. I really don’t know why she is so afraid of men. However, whenever we go to a restaurants or to the mall, she’s fine when she sees other people.
She just kept on crying and crying and obviously when people see a child crying, they would come up and asked what is wrong, don’t cry, etc. Of course, she cried louder 🙁 Luckily I brought some stickers and books with me. So, I spent the first 1 hour sitting in the living room with Ashley while she calmed down, playing with the stickers. Everyone was outside at the porch, enjoying the dinner. Bleh!!! Thank God, she warmed up later and started running & hopping around 😀 Here are some photos of my cry baby.

I don’t want to go out, daaaaddddy!!!

I just want to stay on this swing, ok?

See my cheeky smile 😀

Do you want to see me jump, mommy?

The pix are quite dark hor, quite hard to see clearly but in the 3rd pic, Ashley looks so cheeky and adorable. My gals used to be very shy too when they were little and would cry when they are with strangers. ALycia is still quite shy and reserved now but Sher has outgrown her shyness and is a social butterfly now 🙂
